Welcome to Ozone. This guide will help you understand the basics of using your Ozone account, listing products and services, trading with other members and managing your account.
1. Complete Your Business Profile
Start by making sure your Ozone business profile is complete and up to date.
Add:
- your business name; contact details;
- business description;
- website and social links where applicable;
- business location;
- and information about the products or services you provide.
A complete profile helps other Ozone members understand who you are and what your business offers.
2. List Your Products and Services
Use the Ozone Marketplace to list the products and services your business has available.
Make your listings as clear as possible by including:
- a descriptive title; good-quality images;
- an accurate description;
- pricing;
- availability;
and the applicable Ozone Dollar and New Zealand dollar payment structure.
Free and Premium membership plans have different listing allowances. Please refer to the Pricing page for current plan details.
3. Browse the Ozone Marketplace
Explore products and services available from other Ozone members.
You can use the Marketplace to find business services, products and other trading opportunities.
You do not need to buy from the same business that purchased from you. Ozone Dollars earned from one participating member can be used with another member across the Ozone network.
4. Understand Ozone Dollars
Ozone Dollars are trade credits used within the Ozone network.
For accounting and trading purposes, O$1 is recorded at the equivalent value of NZ$1, subject to the Ozone Terms and Conditions.
Ozone Dollars are not New Zealand currency, legal tender, cash or a bank deposit.
They are designed to facilitate trade between Ozone members.
5. Agree the Transaction Before You Trade
Before completing a transaction, the buyer and seller should agree:
- the total price;
- the amount payable in Ozone Dollars;
- any amount payable in New Zealand dollars;
- GST where applicable;
- delivery, freight or collection arrangements; and any other important conditions of the sale.
Transactions may use Ozone Dollars, New Zealand dollars or an agreed combination of both, subject to the Ozone Terms and Conditions.
There is no compulsory 50% Ozone requirement.
6. Pay Another Ozone Member
When making a payment to another Ozone member, use the transaction/payment function available through your Ozone account.
Before confirming a transaction, check the member details, transaction value and agreed Ozone Dollar/NZD split carefully.
If you are unsure how to complete a transaction, contact the Ozone team for assistance.
7. Keep Your Account Details Secure
Keep your username, password and account access details confidential.
Do not allow anyone to access your account unless they are an authorised user.
Premium Membership allows multiple authorised users to be added to an account.
If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact Ozone as soon as possible.
