This delightful native shrub makes a charming hedge or feature plant. Its dense, bushy form is covered in olive-toned leaves with a silvery-chocolate hue, and in spring it bursts into a mass of small, starry yellow flowers. Ideal for low hedges, containers, or as a stand-alone statement.

Growth
Evergreen. Reaches approximately 2 x 1.2 metres. Plant height (excluding pot): 60–70 cm (seasonal variation may occur).

Position
Prefers partial shade and average, well-drained soil.

Planting
Before planting, improve soil structure by digging in compost—either in individual holes or by enriching a trench. In clay soils, add a handful of Gypsum per square metre to improve drainage. For very heavy soils, planting on a slight mound is recommended.

Care
Fertilise with a balanced slow-release fertiliser or use an organic option such as Aquaticus Garden Booster. Water deeply at planting and mulch with Living Earth More Than Mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
